At Distinctive we believe that child safety is of the utmost importance and therefore offer child safety components that have been thoroughly tested to achieve high safety standards. All of our child safety devices have been certified as safe by the British Blind and Shutter association to comply with the current child safety legislation.

 

Please bear the below in mind when ordering:-

When not using a break device the bottom chain/cord loop must be at least 150CM from the floor and MUST also be attached to the wall using an approved chain retention device which will be provided with each headrail/track ordered. When using a chain break device the bottom chain loop must be at least 60CM from the floor, in order to achieve this; an installation height is necessary when ordering, regardless of the utilisation. If the installation height is unknown, a maximum of 1M chain can be provided.

Rear cords.

The folds to the rear cords must be a maximum of 20cm apart and have a breakaway at the bottom, if larger pockets are required you will need to use breakaway devices on each fold as below.
